Overview: The Helpdesk Technician provides remote technical support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role is ideal for someone with handson experience supporting users in a helpdesk environment and a strong understanding of account administration within Active Directory. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver remote IT support to end users, leveraging 2+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and system access issues across multiple communication channels (phone, email, and ticketing systems). * Administer and maintain Active Directory user accounts, including creating new accounts, performing password resets, managing security and distribution groups, and assisting with basic Group Policy-related tasks. * Manage and resolve incoming support tickets, ensuring issues are triaged effectively, documented thoroughly, and resolved in accordance with service-level expectations. * Provide clear, customerfocused communication to guide users through technical issues and ensure a positive support experience. * Escalate complex incidents to higherlevel support teams as needed while maintaining ownership and followup with end users. Qualifications: * 2+ years of helpdesk or technical support experience. * Working knowledge of Active Directory user and group management. * Experience troubleshooting common IT issues through a ticketing system. * Strong communication, problemsolving, and customer service skills. * Ability to work efficiently in a remote support environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
