Job Title: Test Technician Duration: 6 +Months Client Location: 4 Marconi, Irvine CA, 92618 Payrate: $23.75/hour on w2 - $27.50/hour on w2 without benefits (Based on experience) Shift: 1^st shift (6:30 am to 3:00 pm) Job Description: The Test Technician, completes work according to instructions, specifications and procedures. Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity and on-time delivery. Role & Responsibilities: Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures. Reviews shop traveler route card, or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation. Perform a variety of test to verify circuitry and to test effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment. Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoots circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verifying check. Perform test and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters and other related test equipment. Required Skills: Strong electrical background with understanding of microelectronics. Strong knowledge in testing, debugging and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. 3-5 years of relevant experience.
