As a Financial Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our patients have a seamless financial experience from the moment they step through our doors. You'll be their trusted advisor, helping them understand their insurance benefits and potential financial obligations throughout their journey with us.

What You'll Do:

• Be the Voice of Support: Communicate with patients to gather essential financial, social, and medical information, becoming their go-to contact for all financial assistance inquiries.
• Expertly Assess Financial Situations: Verify insurance benefits and determine patients' financial capabilities, ensuring they fully understand their coverage and what to expect.
• Offer Tailored Solutions: Provide payment alternatives and assist patients in navigating out-of-network determinations, advocating for their needs every step of the way.
• Guide with Compassion: Counsel patients on out-of-pocket liabilities, collect payments, and create personalized payment plans that work for them.

High School Diploma required.

At least three (3) years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting with specific focus on patient responsibility, including out-of-pocket maximums, copays, coinsurance, deductibles, etc.

Basic math and computer skills required.

Able to maintain patient confidentiality and overall awareness of HIPAA guidelines.
