About the team

The Auto Finance team at FIS supports a configurable, endtoend leasing and financing platform used by auto lenders across the globe. We work closely with auto finance clients to support their daytoday use of the platform, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide insight into ways they can optimize their processes and improve operational efficiency.

Our team consists of experienced developers, designers, and QA engineers who work closely with clients to support daily operations, resolve issues, and improve their use of the platform. We help lenders enhance efficiency by troubleshooting system behavior, analyzing business processes, and guiding clients toward bestpractice workflows that improve both operational performance and borrower experience.

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with technical teams working on COBOLbased Auto Finance applications, interpret business requirements, and clarify intended behaviors.

  • Investigate, reproduce, and document system issues; provide rootcause insights and recommend potential solutions.

  • Assist in defining functional specifications for enhancements and system changes.

  • Support system testing, test planning, test case design, execution; and validation of fixes and enhancements.

  • Work with client-facing teams to understand lender needs and ensure the platform supports optimal loan servicing, collections, origination, and asset management workflows.

  • Contribute to documentation, process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Auto Finance team.

What you bring

  • Experience in business analysis, product design, quality assurance, enterprise software, and or system support in financial services.

  • Experience with enterprise software testing, requirements documentation, and or production support.

  • Comfort within Agile teams (participating in standups, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery).

  • Accounting knowledge to support the analysis (financial transactions, fees interest behavior).

  • Validate system outputs related to general ledger impacts, payment application, and reconciliation processes.

  • Strong communication skills (collaborate with business and technical mainframe teams).

Bonus if you have

  • Mainframe tools and environments (TSO/ISPF, JCL, CICS).

  • Consumer auto lending or lease servicing workflows knowledge.

  • Auto lending regulations or compliance considerations.

  • Supporting or enhancing largescale financial platforms.

  • Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, or product development.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $101,480.00 - $170,470.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
