Position Description

We are a team,first and foremost, and we take pride in our collaborative efforts!The Inventory Control Auditoris responsible forauditing inventory transactions and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role monitors stock levels,validatesphysical counts against system records, andidentifiesdiscrepancies or control weaknesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations across warehouses or facilities.
  • Identifyand investigate variances between physical counts and system data; recommend corrective actions.
  • Evaluate inventory movement transactions (e.g., receipts, transfers, adjustments) for accuracy and compliance.
  • Review inventory-related controls and procedures to ensure adherence to internal policies.
  • Collaborate with warehouse,logistics, and finance teams to address issues and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor high-risk inventory areas and perform root cause analysis for recurring discrepancies.
  • Prepare audit reports documenting findings, risks, and proposed remediation plans.

Support process improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, and traceability.

Required Education & Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, auditing, supply chain, or related roles.
  • Solid understanding of inventory processes, ERP systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiencyin Excel; experiencewith audit tools or reporting software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate audit findings.
  • Willingness to travel to warehouse locations or distribution centers as needed.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, ora relatedfieldrequired.
  • Certifications such as CIA, CISA, or APICS/CPIM are a plus but notrequired.
