About Our Team

Lenovo's AI Ecosystem is a new, centralized AI organization designed to deliver a unified Personal AI vision that seamlessly spans Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group devices and segments. We are a diverse, nimble, fast-paced team driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a bias for action.

Our work sits at the intersection of devices, software, platforms, and ecosystem partnerships, enabling differentiated AI experiences across wearables, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and cloud-connected services. We collaborate deeply across various internal teams and external partners to bring Lenovo's Personal AI strategy to life.

We are seeking a Chief of Staff, AI Ecosystem, reporting directly to the Vice President, AI Ecosystem. In this role, you will act as a strategic and operational partner to the VP, helping to drive execution, alignment, and impact across Lenovo's AI Ecosystem initiatives.

You will work closely with cross-functional leaders spanning product, engineering, design, operations, HR, legal, and marketing, as well as support coordination with key external ecosystem partners. This role is critical to ensuring the AI Ecosystem organization operates with clarity, discipline, and speed, while scaling Lenovo's Personal AI vision across devices and experiences.


Location: Chicago, IL is highly preferred. Open to remote work in the US with travel.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with the VP, AI Ecosystem to drive execution of key priorities and strategic initiatives.

  • Help define, prioritize, and track AI Ecosystem projects across Lenovo Intelligent Devices group.

  • Manage the team's operating rhythm, including staff meetings, reviews, and leadership sessions.

  • Coordinate across product, engineering, design, legal, finance, HR, and marketing to ensure alignment and progress.

  • Track goals, KPIs, and action items; surface risks and drive issues to resolution.

  • Prepare executive-level presentations, updates, and readouts for senior leadership.

  • Support internal and external communications on behalf of the VP when needed.

  • Assist with special projects, analysis, and workshops related to Lenovo's Personal AI strategy.


Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, program management, or a similar role in a technology-driven organization.

  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.

  • Strong interest in and understanding of AI, platforms, ecosystems, and device-based experiences.

  • Entrepreneurial and creative mindset with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.

  • Proven leadership and influence skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders toward shared outcomes.

  • High emotional intelligence and excellent diplomatic skills across all organizational levels.

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with an understanding of how strategic decisions impact the business.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, global environment.

  • Strong collaboration skills across business units and GEOs.

  • Ability to travel at least 30%, once per month

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $150K - $220K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
