Role Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will be a key member of our team, supporting site leadership and helping to create an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment. The responsibilities will include:

  • Perform your duties with discretion and confidentiality when appropriate and per departmental and institutional guidelines

  • Prepare documents, including memos, PowerPoint slides, announcements, correspondence, reports, presentations, and manuals, as required

  • Input and update data into spreadsheets and databases.

  • Assist in coordinating various operational meetings and taking meeting minutes

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role supporting a team in a corporate or healthcare setting (e.g., scheduling, calendar management, meeting coordination, document preparation, and day-to-day operational support).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment, anticipate next steps, and follow through with minimal direction.

  • Sound judgment with experience in identifying issues, risks, or gaps in information and proactively escalating them to appropriate team members.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with experience serving as a primary point of contact for team members and cross-functional partners.

Core Skills:

  • Advanced Outlook calendar management and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Comfort with technology and the ability to troubleshoot issues in real time

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, including task tracking and project follow-up

  • Effective written and verbal communication

Additional Information:

  • Location: David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care - 530 E. 74th Street

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm (hybrid schedule)

Pay Range: $26.21 - $39.24 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
