All Current Electric, a division of EBSCO Industries, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. This position will be responsible for developing detailed electrical drawings and schematics for product assembly, including panel boards, motor controls, combo starters, and related electrical products. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with practical design skills to support our manufacturing operations. Job Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive electrical drawings and schematics for product assembly following industry standards and company specifications
- Create accurate bills of materials (BOMs) and component specifications for electrical assemblies - Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and project management teams to ensure designs meet production requirements - Review and interpret customer specifications and translate them into detailed engineering drawings - Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical codes, including NEC (National Electrical Code), UL standards, and other applicable regulations - Perform calculations for electrical load analysis, wire sizing, and protective device coordination - Support the production team by providing technical guidance and clarification on drawings and specifications - Participate in design reviews and value engineering initiatives to optimize product performance and manufacturability - Maintain organized documentation of all drawings, revisions, and project files - Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues during manufacturing and installation Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering * Minimum of 1 year of experience creating electrical schematics and drawings * Demonstrated proficiency in developing electrical control and power distribution drawings * Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar platforms) * Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (NEC, UL, NEMA) * Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings * Familiarity with electrical components, including circuit breakers, contactors, relays, transformers, and control devices Essential Job Function
