SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Program Manager is accountable for leading enterprise-wide, non-product development initiatives focused on LEAN process improvement, value stream optimization, enterprise system integration, and COGS reduction. This role owns project intake, governance, and execution outcomes for high-impact sustaining-business initiatives and serves as a connective leader across Operations, Quality, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions. The position emphasizes modern delivery practices (Scrum, Agile, AI-enabled project management) while operating effectively within a regulated environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
1.Own and manage project intake, prioritization, and governance for: Value Stream Mapping initiatives, Enterprise system implementations, LEAN and COGS reduction programs
2.Ensure initiatives are aligned to strategic priorities, capacity, and measurable business outcomes.
3.Establish clear success metrics, decision frameworks, and escalation paths.
4.Provide executive-level reporting focused on outcomes, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
5.Lead value stream mapping (VSM) efforts across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and enabling functions.
6.Identify waste, constraints, and cost drivers; translate findings into executable improvement roadmaps.
7.Drive LEAN initiatives that result in measurable improvements in: Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Cycle time and throughput, Rework, scrap, and inefficiency
8.Ensure improvements are embedded through standard work, metrics, and governance.
9.Lead implementation and integration of enterprise systems and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, workflow tools, ERP/QMS modules, reporting platforms).
10.Partner with IT, Quality, and business process owners to ensure solutions are compliant, scalable, and value-driven.
11.Drive adoption through structured change management, training, and post-implementation stabilization.
12.Ensure tools enhance visibility, collaboration, and decision-making rather than adding administrative burden.
13.Apply Agile and Scrum principles to non-product initiatives where appropriate.
14.Coach cross-functional teams on iterative delivery, backlog management, and incremental value realization.
15.Leverage AI-enabled project management capabilities to improve forecasting, risk identification, reporting efficiency, and decision support.
16.Balance Agile delivery with Streck's regulatory and quality expectations.
17.Act as a trusted execution partner to functional leaders across the organization.
18.Facilitate alignment between departments with competing priorities and shared dependencies.
19.Proactively assess change impact, readiness, and adoption risks.
20.Drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 8-12+ years of experience in program or senior project management within regulated industries (medical device, diagnostics, biotech, healthcare).
  • Demonstrated experience in sustaining business environments, not exclusively new product development.
  • Change management certification (Prosci or equivalent) preferred.
    PMP or PgMP certification preferred.
  • Experience establishing PMO governance, intake processes, or enterprise standards preferred.


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
*Proven experience leading: Value Stream Mapping and LEAN initiatives, COGS reduction and operational efficiency programs, and Enterprise system implementations
*Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet for project, program, and portfolio management.
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and M365 collaboration tools.
*Experience applying Agile/Scrum delivery approaches outside of software-only environments.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL DEMANDS:
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work). Travel demands for this position are estimated up to 15%. If travel is required, this travel may include customer visits, events/trade shows, and completion of presentations primarily throughout Domestic US or International regions. Employees must comply with all travel recommendations regarding "safe travel" according to company policies and guidelines, and all federal, state, local, and international orders.

**PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
Light work exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 5 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 5 pounds of force constantly to move objects. This also includes standing for up to two and a half hours consecutively, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, reaching, stooping, fingering, and grasping. Expressing and receiving detailed information through written and oral communication. Also has an ability to make sound, appropriate, and prompt decisions within the guidelines of the role.
