Senior Project Marketing Manager

This is a 9-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role working PST hours, with potential to convert.


Summary
This role supports marketing initiatives focused on driving revenue, engagement, and retention, with a strong emphasis on project-based and construction or renovation-related marketing. The Senior Marketing Specialist translates business strategy into effective marketing programs, partners cross-functionally, and leads execution across multiple initiatives while representing Marketing across the organization.

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing (print + digital)
  • Passion for marketing with a strong foundation in campaign development, project management, and creative strategy.
  • Proficient in managing integrated marketing programs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Familiar with working across matrixed organizations and partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in collaborating with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and third-party vendors.
  • Able to work independently while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate performance and optimize programs.


Job Description
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of marketing programs that support key business initiatives. You'll partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives, consumer insights, and operational needs into effective marketing strategies and creative solutions.

This includes planning and executing marketing campaigns, guiding day-to-day marketing activities, managing creative development from concept through execution, and collaborating with internal and external agencies and vendors. You will also oversee timelines, budgets, purchase orders, and performance reporting to ensure programs are delivered on time and within scope, supporting the overall success of the marketing team.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Background in marketing, communications, or related disciplines.
  • 4+ years of marketing experience, ideally within retail, fitness, service, or consumer-focused environments.
  • Experience managing creative development processes and working with third-party vendors.
  • Experience operating within cross-functional or matrixed organizations.


Additional Requirements
This opportunity is remote and requires working PST hours.

Occasional travel (up to 15%) may be required.

Ability to lift packages up to 30 pounds, if needed.

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $50.00 - $55.00 per hour.

This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
