Description
Summary: This Job is responsible for the overall technical, operational, and administrative supervision of all Sleep Labs including but not limited to patient scheduling, policy and procedures development and implementation, equipment and supplies maintenance, educational training, and day-to-day staff communications. Also responsible for planning, directing, and performing patient care testing. Responsibilities:
- Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Establishes and implements goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for the assigned administrative areas.
- Oversees the personnel needs of the department with responsibility for training and evaluation; also involved in the hiring, orientation, education, certification, job descriptions, and coaching/counseling of department staff
- Reviews and summarizes final test results for evaluation and interpretation by the Medical professional
- Assists with the annual operational plan and financial budget
- Responsible for work assignments and daily operations
- Assists as polysomnographic technician as needed
- Responds to inquiries from Medical personnel concerning polysomnographic policies and regulations
- Consult with Medical personnel in the formulation, modification, and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices
- Assures productivity and financial goals are met on a consistent basis
- Performs routine and complex equipment care, maintenance, and repairs
- Assures compliance with appropriate accrediting agencies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements: Education/Skills
- Associate degree required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
- 6 - 8 years of technical experience preferred
- 2 - 5 years of leadership/ management experience preferred
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- BLS required
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) licensure by BRPT required
Work Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday Work Type: Full Time
