Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality program for a large, multi-site team supporting the FBI's National Name Check Program. The QA Manager oversees the standards, processes, and evaluations that ensure all name-check products meet accuracy, completeness, and compliance requirements. This role serves as the authoritative lead for quality policy, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement across all contractor operations.

The QA Manager works closely with the Program Manager, Assistant Program Manager, and government counterparts to maintain rigorous performance standards, reduce error rates, and promote a culture of quality and accountability.



Responsibilities

Quality Program Leadership * Develop, maintain, and enforce quality standards for all name-check workflows. * Ensure alignment with applicable federal policies, FBI program guidance, and contract requirements. * Liaise with the quality assurance team to ensure ongoing compliance with established standards and procedures.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) * Oversee systematic review of work products to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedures. * Analyze error trends, failure points, and process deviations; lead root-cause analysis and corrective action planning. * Provide direction and technical support to quality analysts and team leads to ensure consistent application of standards.

Compliance & Risk Management * Monitor compliance with federal regulations, FBI policies, and security requirements. * Identify and report systemic risks or recurring deficiencies; collaborate with program leadership to implement mitigation strategies. * Support readiness for government audits, inspections, and performance evaluations.

Training & Workforce Development * Partner with training staff to ensure quality standards are embedded into training materials and onboarding programs. * Conduct refresher training, targeted coaching, and quality-focused workshops for staff and supervisors. * Reinforce a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Reporting, Metrics & Continuous Improvement * Develop and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and trend analyses; brief leadership and government stakeholders on performance. * Recommend process improvements, workflow adjustments, or automation opportunities to reduce error rates and increase consistency. * Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure timely completion and measurable improvement.



Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in quality management, criminal justice, public administration, statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or audit functions-preferably within federal programs or high-volume analytical environments.
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC methodologies, root-cause analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply federal policies, SOPs, and program requirements.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Experience leading teams in a structured, metrics-driven environment.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one, if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • National Name Check Experience or Experience with analytical FBI programs.
  • Familiarity with processing name check requests.
