Come join our team! $1,000 Retention Bonus (after 1 year) MPS, a division of Macmillan Publishers, a leading US publisher of Trade and Academic titles, has a job opening for a Manager, Reconciliations in our Gordonsville facility. MPS provides back office support, warehousing, and, fulfillment for Macmillan US, and is their primary distribution facility for North America. Purpose of the Role: The Reconciliation Manager is responsible for managing Amazon transaction reconciliation activities to support accurate financial reporting and timely resolution of deductions. The manager will supervise a reconciliation team, support process improvements, and partner cross-functionally to reduce operational and compliance-related losses. Key responsibilities/tasks: Amazon Vendor Central Reconciliation Deductions & Dispute Management Financial Support & Reporting Process Improvement & Automation Compliance & Root Cause Reduction Team Leadership Communication Supervisory Responsibilities Skills/experience required: Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, or reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, walk, and stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position will be remote; however, periodic in-office attendance is required throughout the year for meetings and training. Bachelors (preferred) Experience
2 years: 2+ years of reconciliation, accounting, or high-volume transactional / e-commerce finance experience.
2+ years of people management or team lead experience. (required) Skills
