Manufacturing Engineer - Precision Manufacturing

Location: Beverly, MA

Pay Rate: Up to $115,000 per year

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of high-precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring the highest levels of product quality. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, quality, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Review product designs for manufacturability, tolerance requirements, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
  • Define and document manufacturing processes for components and assemblies.
  • Design, specify, and procure fixtures and gauges required for production.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing routings and bills of material within the ERP system.
  • Review engineering change orders (ECOs) and update process documentation accordingly.
  • Partner with manufacturing engineers, design engineers, quality teams, supervisors, and machine operators to optimize shop-floor productivity and product flow.
  • Lead or participate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.



Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining, including workholding and machining principles.
  • Strong understanding of machine shop operations and inspection practices.
  • Proficiency with CAD and solid modeling tools; working knowledge of GD&T and drawing standards.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
