Position: Target Analyst Reporter (Levels 1 - 3) Location: Ft Meade, MD (NSAW) Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly Salary Range: $123,000 - $200,000 Job Description: Target Analyst Reporters (TARs) provide synthesized products to customers by researching, analyzing, and reporting intelligence via appropriate reporting vehicles, in response to Intelligence Community requirements. They maintain awareness of internal and external customer needs and collaborate with collectors and other analysts to refine collection and reporting requirements. They use critical thinking to prioritize, assess, evaluate, and report information obtained from direct collection and analysis, as well as from related collateral sources. They share target-related information and provide feedback to customers as appropriate. They author reporting products, which relay developments, trends, indications, warnings, and/or situational awareness regarding specific targets, as well as countermeasures and courses of action. They help develop databases or working aids on target activity to enhance and build target knowledge and improve collection to execute Intelligence Community missions. TAR Level 1
- 6 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of
experience with an Associate's degree, or 4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree. - Degree in the liberal arts field (e.g., English,
History, Communications, Languages and Cultures, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but any degree in any field is acceptable. - Relevant experience must be in an area directedly
related to an IC of DoD mission (e.g., collections, cyber, and intelligence analysis) and/or drafting/editing intelligence reports.
TAR Level 2
- 9 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of
experience with an Associate's degree, or 5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree - Degree in the liberal arts field (e.g., English,
History, Communications, Languages and Cultures, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but any degree in any field is acceptable. - Relevant experience must be in an area directedly
related to an IC of DoD mission (e.g., collections, cyber, and intelligence analysis) and/or drafting/editing intelligence reports.
TAR Level 3
- 12 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of
experience with an Associate's degree, or 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years of experience with a Master's degree - Degree in the liberal arts field (e.g., English,
History, Communications, Languages and Cultures, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but any degree in any field is acceptable. - Relevant experience must be in an area directedly
related to an IC of DoD mission (e.g., collections, cyber, and intelligence analysis) and/or drafting/editing intelligence reports.
