TITLE: Information & Facility Security Officer - *Part time 20 hours per week
LOCATION: Ashburn, VA
POSITION SUMMARY
: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information & Facility Security Officer (IFSO) to oversee all federal government contracts and compliance programs at our company. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Information Technology security management and will take ongoing ownership of our Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversee and manage the security of all federal government contracts from a CMMC perspective, ensuring teams understand the program, correctly identify applicable requirements, and consistently perform work in alignment with CMMC standards.
- Work within all levels of the organization to support the contractual needs
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security regulations, guidelines, and standards, including NIST, ITAR, and DFARS.
- Ownership and continuous improvement of the company's CMMC program, ensuring all policies and procedures are up-to-date and effective.
- Develop, implement and maintain security policies, plans procedures, and protocols to protect controlled information and company assets.
- Managing POAM remediation for multiple systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Conduct and maintain documentation for ongoing security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments.
- Coordinate and lead security training programs for employees to ensure awareness and compliance with security protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters with government agencies and contractors.
- Prepare and submit required security reports and documentation to federal agencies.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain and manage security clearance records and documentation for all personnel.
- Maintain facility security clearance records and documentation for all facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:
- Active Clearance of Secret or Higher
- U.S. Citizen
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a federal government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal security regulations, including NIST, ITAR, and DFARS.
- Working knowledge/experience with CMMC requirements and implementation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications such as: SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
