What is the role about?

Eastern Controls Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser Inc. is seeking a Thermal Applications Specialist. The position is a highly technical engineering role responsible for designing, selecting, and applying thermal heat trace applications. This role focuses on engineering support, technical expertise, and education to ensure that ECI delivers best-in-class solutions. What tasks will you perform?

  • Select proper heattrace technologies based on process requirements.
  • Create thermal designs to ensure piping, tanks, or equipment maintain required temperatures.
  • Support inside and outside sales teams with sizing, application questions, and problem resolution.
  • Review customer specs and ensure selected systems meet all application and safety criteria.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers.Understand their processes, challenges, and long-term needs.

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering) or Associate's degree plus 1-3 years hands-on technical experience (field tech, commissioning tech, instrumentation technician)
    • Technical certificate programs, bootcamps, or trade school with relevant coursework and demonstrable practical work are equally acceptable.

You may have (preferred):

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with CRM Platforms
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable and can thrive working with various internal and external stakeholders to provide the best-in-class process control solutions.
