Responsibilities The Float Medical Assistant (MA) travels to rural clinics as well as the metro Oklahoma City area to assist with coverage for the Oklahoma Heart Hospital physician clinics. Great opportunity to learn from a variety of job functions from the various physician teams. Travel is required and mileage reimbursement when applicable. Under the direct supervision of the Clinic Nurse Director, Clinic Director, or Physician, the Medical Assistant assists with daily clinic operations while upholding the mission, vision, and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital. This role supports efficient patient flow, accurate clinical documentation, and a positive patient experience.Float or travel to OHHP locations to fill in for clinical positions on an as-needed basis, following all policies and procedures. This position is classified as a safety-sensitive position, meaning Oklahoma Heart Hospital reasonably believes the duties of this role may directly impact the safety and health of the employee, patients, and others. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensure/Certification: BLS certification required within sixty (60) months of hire. Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of continuous experience in a clinic setting preferred.
