Welcome to Parker Industrial Process Filtration

At Parker's Industrial Process Filtration Division, we collaborate with our customers to offer filtration solutions for complex contaminant management issues. Our aim is to enhance product quality and safeguard critical equipment against maintenance issues and downtime.

The Industrial Process Filtration Division directly supports North America. In addition, IPF works with our global Parker Hannifin regional entities to leverage IPF products across the globe.

Position Summary

The position assists the Environmental, Health, & Safety Team in promoting the environmental, health, and safety of plant operations to assure individual employee well-being and compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal requirements. With direct supervision, you will learn and perform the various aspects of the function by:

  • Developing forms for EHS processes.
  • Review New Hire Trainings and site-specific trainings to help update/revise.
  • Re- Evaluate noise levels in PEM, Cores, and Filtertex.
  • Develop forms and processes for waste movement and storage from departments to waste containment.
  • Formulating a better process from waste containment to shipping of waste and Manifest collection.
  • Help with formulating a process for TCEQ required stormwater collections, possible air-permitting.

  • Strong analytical, mechanical conceptualization, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new applications

  • Strong innovation and creative thinking, self-motivated

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information

  • Detail oriented individual with demonstrated organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Ability to complete the job following all policies or procedures regarding safety, waste handling, and environmental regulations without direct threat or significant risk to the health, safety or environment.

  • Currently enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree in related field such as: Safety, Environmental Sciences, Public Health, Chemical Engineering.
