What to Expect

We areseekinga skilled and collaborative Sr. Analytics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of data pipelines, data warehousing, and reporting infrastructure to support the growth of Field Quality and Remanufacturing team.

As a key member of our team, you will design, build, andmaintainlarge-scale data systems to combine data from various data sources, including deployed fleets, internal applications, and other data warehouses. Your work will contribute to our understanding of key business performance indicators, informing data-driven decisions tooptimizeour strategies and drive decision making for all our hardware products.

You willbe responsible forleading the development of data efforts that will feed into the work of downstream data analytics that will address the bookkeeping of our product genesis, usage,serviceand replacement cycles across our growing fleet of energy products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Energy, Residential Energy, and Solar Product and Service Engineering, to maximizeproducthealth of our fleet.


What You'll Do
  • Design and implement automated data solutions to support various business teams such as Manufacturing,Field Quality and Remanufacturing

  • Design and implement robust data storage and management systems,leveragingrelational databases, NoSQL databases, and graph databases to support diverse data needs

  • Work effectively with engineers and conducting end-to-end analyses, from data requirement gathering, to data processing and modeling

  • Analyze service and vehicle data to extract actionable insights,identifyfield failure trends, and drive product improvements

  • Write,maintainandoptimizescripts, processes and jobs that will be used by analytics and reporting solutions

  • Architect and implement data pipelines and automation systems to streamline data retrieval, processing, analysis, and visualization, ensuring efficient handling of batch and real time data

  • Design and refine data models by following best practices and techniques using most effective approaches for reporting and analytics such as star schema

  • Identifyslow-running processes and bottlenecks, troubleshoot problems, research and resolve issues

  • Stay up to date with latest trends in data engineering, experiment with new tools, services,technologiesand real-time processing frameworks

  • Set high technical bar not just for yourself but for entire team, leading by example in coding standards,documentationand best practices


What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience with a focusing on providing automations and data solutions

  • Deep SQLexpertiseandvery goodunderstanding of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Vertica, etc.)

  • Experience in data warehousing, including data modeling (dimensional/star/snowflake), large-scale data processing and enterprise warehouse design and maintenance

  • Solid understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their application in enterprise solutions

  • Pythonproficiencywith experience improving, refactoring, and building efficient data pipelines and API

  • Ability to design andmaintainCI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable and scalable deployments

  • Proficiencywith Docker, Git, and modern engineering best practices

  • Experience delivering insights with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.

  • Familiarity with distributed systems (Kafka, Spark, Iceberg) and NoSQL/document databases (MongoDB)

  • Expertisein scalable ETL and data pipelines and tools such as (SSIS, Informatica, Airflow, Luigi or similar)

    Expected Compensation
    $120,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
