As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy Distribution Center, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist guests, employees, and vendors with professionalism. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with calm teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a Distribution Center.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and delivery activity, assisting with check-in procedures, observing for irregularities, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or hazards according to post orders.
• Complete detailed documentation such as patrol logs and incident reports, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or client representatives as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
