Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Agent in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and customer concerns with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, support access control, and partner with site leadership and local responders. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities while assigned to an armed patrol post.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior spaces, parking areas, ATM and vestibule areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required by post orders, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious persons, disturbances, and medical emergencies, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed.
  • Complete routine documentation such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and promptly communicate noteworthy conditions to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
  • 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience is required.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
