This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution facility.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries at designated entry points, including verifying identification, confirming authorization, and supporting package and/or vehicle screening procedures.
  • Control access to the location by monitoring entry and exit, maintaining visitor logs and/or badge processes, and communicating access issues to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established reporting channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols in screening areas, building interior, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, with working conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
