As a Security Officer - Entry Control Desk in Manteca, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location where you will manage access control, greet staff and visitors, verify credentials, and support orderly entry and exit throughout the facility. You will conduct routine rounds in assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with care teams and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by checking identification, validating badges, managing visitor sign-in and credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate destination.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and/or alarm panels; document activity and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disputes at entry points, and medical emergencies requiring notification to clinical staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
