Security Officer - Roving Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Roving Foot Patrol in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your team, and respond to situations with professionalism and calm. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, post orders, and location-specific policies, and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying visitor appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing deliveries to appropriate receiving areas per site policy.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken and promptly notify site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Complete routine security-related reporting such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation; communicate notable conditions during shift turnover to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
