As an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will help manage site entry points by greeting associates and visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and maintaining accurate logs. You will conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with teams during daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, managing vendor and contractor check-in, and documenting activity in required logs and/or systems.
• Screen and direct deliveries and outbound shipments by coordinating with onsite contacts, confirming scheduled appointments, checking bills of lading and/or load information, and helping to maintain orderly traffic flow at gates and dock areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to site leadership and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, identify unusual conditions, and report maintenance and/or sanitation concerns per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
