As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support guests and store teams with professional customer service, clear communication, and quick reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, team members, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter theft and/or unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, and alarms, and coordinate with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assist with access control, and support orderly customer flow during peak shopping periods and special events.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation with accurate details, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• This is a primarily driving post.
• A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
