Nurse Practitioner needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's student health services client located in Newark, NJ. This individual provides primary clinical care services, using a holistic framework, to our diverse and vibrant student body. The Nurse Practitioner should be able to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Schedule: Monday-Friday 9a-5p Duration: 3/2 - 5/31 with the possibility of extension Pay: $65-72/hr What You'll Be Doing: Direct patient care- Mostly in-person visits some telehealth visits. We are a small office so the candidate must feel comfortable triaging your own patients, when necessary, occasional front desk work of answering phones and scheduling/ checking in patients when we are short staffed. Must be comfortable with gyn care, LGBT care and basic mental health care in addition to primary care. Our patient population is mostly 18-35 years old. There might be times when the candidate will administer their own injections and vaccines, as well as POC testing/ EKG. Immunization compliance- ensuring all incoming students are compliant with the university vaccination requirements and answer student questions whether in person, via phone, email or immunization portal.
