Overview
Be part of the Datacenter Management Transformation. Cloud Technology dominates significant parts of daily life, and with the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), datacenter design limits are being pushed, evolving from central processing unit (CPU) centric to graphics processing unit (GPU) centric architectures. This role offers a fast-paced environment at the forefront of enabling new hardware innovations for Azure while supporting the continued growth and scale of cloud platforms. The team drives innovation and excellence in the Datacenter Management (DCM) area by optimizing and delivering industry-leading cloud infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's cloud offerings worldwide. The focus is on building resilient, scalable, and efficient systems that support global cloud operations and meet evolving platform requirements. As a Senior Software Engineer in the datacenter management area, responsibilities include developing and implementing solutions that enable and enhance systems of records, improve operational efficiency, and maintain a compliant cloud infrastructure. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to determine user requirements, contribute to the identification of dependencies, build feedback loops, and drive continual operational efficiency improvements across the fleet. #azurecorejobs Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
