Role Overview

The Professional Services Operational Business Partner (OBP) is a strategic advisor to the Professional Services organization. You will be responsible for translating business goals into operational reality. Your primary mission is to ensure that our Professional Services and Customer Onboarding teams are highly utilized, internal processes are scalable, systems are adopted, and KPIs are met. You will bridge the gap between the multiple functions of Customer Experience Operations and the Professional Services organization to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Work with the VP of Professional Services and the Directors to develop annual operational plans, ensuring success for both internal and partner utilization targets and overall resourcing/project health.

  • Financial Performance: Monitor and ensure execution of PS KPIs including TTV, Utilization, project margins, CSAT, and deployment success.

  • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the customer lifecycle and support the implementation and prioritization of streamlined workflows or automation.

  • Change Management: Act as a lead for internal initiatives, such as the rollout of enhancements of our Professional Services Automation Tool (PSA), Kantata, or other initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between Professional Services leadership and CX Operations delivery teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Professional Services, project management, or CX/Sales Operations.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.

  • Systems Experience: Proficiency in CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce) and Professional Services Platforms (e.g. Kantata) .

  • Industry Experience: Direct experience in Construction or Engineering SaaS is highly preferred.

  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze customer data, project progression, and health scores to support customer implementations and project healtn.

  • Communication: Exceptional "soft skills" to challenge senior stakeholders and manage conflicting priorities across departments.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
