Creative Pipeline Specialist - Forward Deployed Engineering

Adobe Inc.
United States, California, San Jose
345 Park Avenue (Show on map)
Mar 30, 2026

The Role

You are the creative production expert in Adobe's Forward Deployed Engineering org. You design the workflows, templates, and creative processes that make AI-powered content pipelines actually work for creative teams. You know how content gets made because you've made it.

You bridge what creative teams need and what engineers build. You understand that a MOGRT template needs specific layer structures, that a Workfront approval flow needs to account for regional brand variations, and that an After Effects render pipeline has constraints that no API documentation will tell you.

You bring the creative domain expertise that turns a technically correct system into one that creative professionals will actually use.

What You'll Do

  • Design creative workflows. Map end-to-end content production pipelines - from creative brief through asset delivery. Identify where AI can accelerate, automate, or enhance each step.

  • Build templates and frameworks. Create reusable creative templates (InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, Figma), asset structures, and production frameworks that scale across customer engagements.

  • Bridge creative and engineering. Translate creative team requirements into engineering specs. Translate engineering capabilities into creative team language. You're the interpreter.

  • Own creative QA. Validate that AI-generated outputs meet brand standards, creative quality bars, and production specifications. You catch what engineers miss because you know what "good" looks like in creative production.

  • Enable customer creative teams. Train customers on AI-enhanced workflows. Build documentation. Run workshops. Help creative teams adopt new tools without disrupting their existing processes.

  • Inform product direction. Capture what creative professionals actually need from AI tools - the gaps, the friction, the unmet needs - and feed that directly to Product.

What You Bring

  • Deep creative production experience. 3-7+ years in creative production, post-production, motion graphics, content operations, or creative technology. You've worked in agencies, studios, or in-house creative teams producing real content at scale.

  • Fluency in creative tools. Deep hands-on expertise in some combination of: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, Cinema 4D, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent. You know these tools at a practitioner level, not from reading about them.

  • Workflow design thinking. You've designed or optimized content production pipelines. You understand DAM systems, asset management, review/approval workflows, versioning, localization, and multi-channel delivery.

  • AI tool adoption. You actively use generative AI in your creative work - Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, ComfyUI, or similar. You can direct AI tools to produce production-quality outputs and understand their current limitations.

  • AI-native mindset. You use AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate your own work. You're comfortable learning new tools fast and teaching others to use them. You leverage AI to do work that wasn't possible before.

  • Customer-facing confidence. You've worked directly with clients, stakeholders, or cross-functional teams. You can run a creative workflow workshop and earn the trust of a customer's creative director.

  • Scrappy and resourceful. You solve problems with whatever's at hand. When the perfect tool doesn't exist, you build workarounds. You don't wait for someone to give you a process - you create one.

What Sets You Apart

  • You've used AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) to build working creative tools or automations - even if you're not a traditional developer

  • Experience with production automation (Workfront, Workfront Fusion, ExtendScript, expression scripting in After Effects)

  • You've been the person who connects creative teams with engineering teams at a studio or agency

  • Familiarity with Adobe's creative and enterprise tooling ecosystem (Creative Cloud, Firefly, AEM, Workfront, Frame.io)

  • Portfolio or examples demonstrating creative production work at scale
