Overview

The Wealth Specialist is a regional subject matter expert who represents Allspring' s full investment platform and the CIO's views. This role is focused on expanding adoption of customized investment solutions across the wealth management segment. Working in-market alongside Regional Directors, the Wealth Specialist drives growth of Allspring's SMA platform by articulating competitive advantages and integrating them into client portfolios.

The Wealth Specialist will lead efforts to communicate the unique strengths of Allspring's investment teams and how they align with client goals. This role connects the firm's investment strategy, research, and portfolio solutions with the advice provided by client firms, acting as an extension of Allspring's PM, Analytics, and CIO office.
Strong investment and capital markets knowledge is essential, along with the ability to represent Allspring's expanding tax-aware solutions, especially those offered through Remi, our platform for direct indexing and custom fixed income SMAs.

This specialist will build relationships with senior leaders, financial advisors, and centers of influence across the wealth management space. They must be a persuasive communicator, capable of influencing key stakeholders and presenting at regional and national events. Working closely with National Accounts, field distribution, and Sales Execution, they will identify top opportunities and develop collaborative plans to drive growth and elevate Allspring's investment brand.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

    Promote Allspring's complete solution set to create leverage for our sales teams though referral activity
  • Identify execution strategies that will elevate the Allspring brand and grow market share
  • Cultivate relationships with client firms and expand Allspring's access with local leadership
  • Collaboratively work with Allspring distribution partners to develop regional sales strategies to maximize executional efficacy.
  • Present Allspring's capabilities and investment views to COIs to highlight areas of opportunity within their territory goals and recommend potential solutions to better align client holdings and portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership and advice leaders, Investment Specialists and Client PMs to adopt Allspring's strategies more broadly and optimally become an extension to their firms' sales execution effort.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* The ability to understand and distill complex investment strategy and research concepts.
* Possess a very strong understanding of the firm's investment strategies, capabilities, and portfolio construction views.
* Understanding of tax-advantaged investing strategies and demonstrable success in growing adoption of tax-managed solutions.
* Strong understanding and experience working in the wealth management / retail brokerage market segment.
* 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business development/sales, financial services consulting or investment research.
* Successfully completed FINRA Series 7 and 63 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents).
* Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Leadership experience.
* 5+ years of brokerage or wealth management experience.
* Knowledge and understanding of investment products, asset allocation, operations, and the servicing requirements.
* Knowledge and understanding of investment analysis.
* Skilled in assessing investment information to build financial plans and determine appropriate business and client resolution.
* Strong presentation skills.
* Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA or equivalent experience), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation is preferred.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
