Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond. Together, we advance your career.

THE ROLE:

The Foundry Technology Operations (FTO) Product Owner plays a critical role in bringing AMD products from early development to highvolume manufacturing. This position sits within a highly crossfunctional, fastpaced environment and serves as the technical and execution focal point between AMD and external foundry partners.

In this role, you will own the Product Process Plan of Record, drive wafer readiness, and continuously optimize performance, yield, reliability, power, area, and cost. You'll work closely with internal teams-including Product Engineering, Design, Business Units, Reliability, and Supply Chain-while partnering directly with foundries to resolve issues, improve process capability, and deliver against aggressive product milestones.

This is an individual contributor role with significant scope and visibility. It is wellsuited for someone with a strong fab or foundry background who enjoys handson technical ownership, datadriven decision making, and influencing outcomes across organizations.

THE PERSON:

You are a selfstarter who thrives in a dynamic, fastchanging environment. You are naturally curious, detailoriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical partners and are effective at building alignment across teams.

You bring a strong foundry or fab mindset, understand how manufacturing realities impact product success, and are motivated by solving complex problems endtoend. Collaboration, adaptability, and a positive, proactive attitude are just as important as technical depth for success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owning product execution from presilicon planning through highvolume manufacturing sustainment
  • Acting as the primary technical interface with external foundry partners
  • Setting expectations for foundry process capability and driving alignment to product requirements
  • Optimizing and monitoring process targeting for performance, power, area, yield, reliability, and cost
  • Running and interpreting models to optimize wafer layouts and identify yield and costsaving opportunities
  • Providing inputs to yield forecasting and capacity planning
  • Defining and executing sample wafer plans to support development milestones
  • Tracking wafer progress to ensure ontime delivery
  • Reviewing reliability data and driving corrective actions and continuous process improvements

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working in a fab or foundry environment, or closely supporting manufacturing
  • Background in advanced process technology or semiconductor product development
  • Experience with yield analysis, process monitoring, and manufacturing data
  • Demonstrated success in crossfunctional and global team environments
  • Strong technical execution, planning, and program management skills
  • Clear written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Master's degree in a technologyrelated field (such as Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar) preferred
  • Advanced degrees are a plus

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
