Work Schedule:

100% FTE, full-time. Day shift, Monday - Friday 8a-430pm. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
Overtime
On-call pay

Qualifications
  • Graduate of DOT approved Paramedic course. Required or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Work Experience
  • Three years experience in pre hospital care or trauma care. Required
  • Five years of adult and pediatric trauma care experience. Experience can be Emergency or Critical Care or a combination of both. Required
Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required or
  • Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois. Required
  • Within first year of employment must attain the following certifications; Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Lead Instructor, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Instructor, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Instructor status. Required
