Overview
The Tactical SRT Vendor Engagement and Interaction Lead position provides engagement support to the Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Sensing (SN) program office. The SSC/SN mission is to deliver persistent space sensing for all-domain awareness to deter, defend, and win. Primary mission areas are resilient missile warning, missile tracking and missile defense space and ground; advanced technology innovation and prototyping, survivable overhead persistent infrared; environmental monitoring and tactical surveillance. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, schedule and lead meetings with commercial vendors
- Develop and maintain documents pertaining to TacSRT's commercial vendors
- Understanding of the DoD or U.S. Space Force acquisition process or experience in government contracting.
- Facilitate communication among engineering, contracting, logistics, and test teams to ensure alignment with mission goals.
- Support development of program schedules, milestones, risk registers, and acquisition documentation.
- Maintain and update program plans, schedules, and status reports; assist in preparing briefings for leadership and stakeholders.
- Adhoc support for government customer
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in management, cogntive science or related field (Required). Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
- Experience through college internships or work enviroment by using skill sets to offer innovative solutions to problems by creating actional decison making tools and visualizations.
- Familiarity with DoD or Space System Command (Formerly Space and Missile Systems Center) organizationsdesired
- Excellent and detail-oriented organizational, interpersonal, and communications skillshighly desired
- Advanced-level competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Outlookhighly desired
- Familiarity with systems engineering, test and evaluation, or space systems development. Desired
Must be able to be granted DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance
