Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct caregivers and coordinates patient care in collaboration with other departments. Position Details: Qualifications: Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (associate degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure for states in which nursing duties are performed. Must comply with all State Board of Nursing licensure requirements. Certifications: Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire. May be required depending on unit or must be obtained within departmentdefined timeframe: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course CPHON - Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support PEARS - Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization S.T.A.B.L.E. - Six Assessment & Care Modules CEFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification Other unitspecific certifications as required Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform job duties. Why Mercy?
