Position Summary
The Fetal Care & Surgery Center is seeking a Genetic Counselor I to join our growing Fetal Genomics Program in a hybrid clinical role. A unique opportunity to contribute to an exciting and rapidly expanding field - fetal genomics - and to work within nationally recognized institutions at the leading edge of patient care and genomic discovery. They will work closely with fetal surgeons, maternal-fetal medicine physicians, medical geneticists, and pediatric subspecialists across the institution to support individuals and families with known or suspected fetal anomalies or genetic conditions. They will provide comprehensive genetic counseling services, including the collection and interpretation of family histories, genetic risk assessment, patient education, coordination and follow-up of genetic testing, and return of clinical results. The role also includes clinical documentation and participation in multidisciplinary care discussions. Key Responsibilities
Education:
The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
