Security Coordinator

  • Reporting to theHealth & Safety Manager,you will provide exemplary customer service toour visitors, employees,contractors,and leaders.

Keyactivitiesinclude:

  • Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all security operations at Par facilities to protect personnel, critical infrastructure, hazardousmaterialsand company assets.

  • Ensurecompliance with refinery safety standards, government regulations, and emergency response requirements whilemaintaininga secure operating environment.

  • Responsible for facilities access system administration and alarm monitoring to include Transportation Worker's Identification Credentials (TWIC).

  • Coordinate Maritime Security Level system (MARSEC) used by the U.S. Coast Guard and maritime industry to communicate the current security threat level and what protective measures should be in place, to include training and update reports

  • Manage day-to-day security operations, including access control, perimetersecurityand patrols

  • Monitor andoperatesecurity systems including Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), access control, intrusiondetectionand alarm systems

  • Respond to and manage security incidents, Send Word Now notifications, emergencies and alarms, including spills, fire incidents,sabotageand/or unauthorized access.

  • Liaison with local law enforcement, governmentagenciesand emergency services

  • Serve as Facilities Site Officer (FSO) alternate

  • Exhibit professional behaviors that mirror our Company values of Respect for Others, Integrity, Collaborative Innovation and Heart.

  • Respond to after-hour calls and work as needed.

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications forthis role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. Tocomply withthe regulations at this work location,successfulapplicants must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).   • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Associate degreepreferred

  • Experience with industrial security systems preferred

  • Strong leadership,coordinationand communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude

  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • Proficient computer skills in applications such asMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Mustpossessa valid U.S. Driver's License with acceptable Driver's Abstract record

Hiring Range:

The hiring range for this position is$86,400-$102,600plusnon-discretionarybonus.Thecandidate selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
