At UnitedHealthcare, we're simplifying the health care experience, creating healthier communities and removing barriers to quality care. The work you do here impacts the lives of millions of people for the better. Come build the health care system of tomorrow, making it more responsive, affordable and optimized. Ready to make a difference? Join us to start Caring. Connecting. Growing together. Role Overview The experience of managing data in healthcare is complex and fragmented, creating significant challenges for delivering consistent and personalized AI experiences. Today, healthcare faces a landscape of disconnected data sources - spreadsheets, inboxes, contracts, and legacy systems - each performing distinct functions without integration. This fragmentation undermines AI effectiveness, increases risk, and limits our ability to deliver contextual, compliant, and persona-driven interactions. At UHG, enterprise data coordination is essential for powering AI-driven experiences that serve the enterprise personas - members, advocates, and brokers - diverse business needs. By unifying and standardizing data across UHC and Optum, UHG-level coordination enables seamless, scalable, and compliant AI solutions that deliver contextualized support and insights. This means members can more easily access care, coordinate benefits, and receive personalized guidance, while advocates and brokers are equipped with timely, accurate information to resolve issues and deliver high-quality service. Optum, as a leading health services and innovation company within UnitedHealth Group, provides a broad range of solutions including pharmacy care services, data analytics, population health management, and clinical expertise. UHG-level data coordination ensures that Optum's business units - such as Optum Health, Optum Insight, and Optum Rx - can leverage integrated, trusted data to optimize operations, support care coordination, drive cost efficiency, and deliver actionable intelligence to providers, payers, and employers. This collaborative approach not only enhances the experience for UHC personas but also empowers Optum to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that improve health outcomes and operational performance across the healthcare ecosystem. By coordinating and integrating data across platforms and tools from both UHC and Optum, you will empower teams withtimely, accurateinformation - helping them resolve member issues, answer questions, and deliver exceptional service at scale. Your work will directlyimpactthe speed, quality, and personalization of support provided to members, advocates, brokers, and companions, driving operational efficiency and improving outcomes across the enterprise. Your scope includes cataloging ground truth data sources, digitizing unstructured data trapped in manual processes, and supporting the execution of a unified data strategy that spans both organizations. You will help break down silos, embedgovernanceand risk management into every layer of the data ecosystem, and foster a culture of innovation and shared ownership.
