Reporting to NYU Langone Health's Senior Real Estate Manager, this position will play a role in all aspects of the development and implementation of real estate solutions in support of the health systems multi-year capital plan. Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute towards the implementation and operationalization of capital planning and projects (new builds, consolidations, expansions) and real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, lease renewals, expansions, contractions, terminations, buyouts, etc.) across the portfolio
- Engage, collaborate, and coordinate across RED+F teams (including but not limited to Planning, Design, & Construction; Real Estate Operations; Regulatory & Compliance; Finance & Administration; Project Support; and EH&S) to facilitate effective asset management of new and existing properties, including analysis regarding capital investments, operating costs, and strategic planning
- Assist in the management of the off-campus Real Estate portfolio, including acting as a liaison in resolving lease disputes and other landlord or tenant-related matters in connection with capital project work or operational matters
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Landlords, Tenants/Subtenants, Property Managers and interface with real estate operations and/or project teams as applicable to provide lease interpretation, support enforcement of NYUs contractual rights (including preparing and issuing default notices as appropriate), and resolve disputes/claims with Landlords, Tenants/Subtenants, Licensees, adjacent property owners, etc. in coordination with the office of general counsel and NYU risk management departments
- Contribute to budget planning efforts (expense and capital as applicable) related to projected development and occupancy costs and monitor budget performance against initiatives
- Produce analyses of and reporting on the real estate portfolio, to inform potential transaction opportunities (acquisition/disposition) and investment considerations in alignment with capital planning strategies and institutional needs
- Ensure best practices in asset management are upheld, contributing to continuous improvement of the off-campus Real Estate portfolio and effective financial and operational management of all assets
- Assist in asset valuations and financial modeling, collaborating with capital projects, finance & administration, real estate management and external appraisers, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree is required
- 3 years relevant, full-time property management, asset management or corporate real estate-oriented experience is a must
- Advanced degree or relevant coursework is highly desirable
- Superior interpersonal skills, organization, process management skills and lease-related experience are essential
- Strong communication, analytical skills, and facility with computer database management and spreadsheet software are strongly desirable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- 7 years of relevant full time experience
