Job Title: Passenger Coach Filming Project Intern Videographer / Editor

Location(s): Lexington, NC

Overview:
This role supports a manufacturing documentation initiative by capturing and producing training-focused video content of passenger train coach assembly processes. The intern will work closely with production teams to create high-quality, educational video materials for analysis and training purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Film production associates during passenger coach assembly processes.
• Collaborate with production teams to capture required content aligned with work orders.
• Plan and execute filming strategies, including camera angles (stationary and handheld) and lighting.
• Edit raw footage into ~2-minute instructional videos with subtitles and key point narration.
• Organize, store, and manage raw and edited media files in designated systems.
• Ensure consistency and clarity across all produced training content.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic to intermediate video filming and editing skills.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software.
• Strong organizational skills for media file management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with shop floor teams.

Additional Information:

• All equipment will be provided.
• Portfolio is appreciated but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to climb stairs regularly.
• Comfortable working on elevated platforms (up to 8 ft with secured railing).
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Must wear designated personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Typically 1st shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM); occasional 2nd shift and overtime as needed

• Associate's or Bachelor's candidates welcome.
