Security Officer Access Patrol

As a Security Officer Access Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. In a caring, agile, and integrity-driven team, you will play an important role in daily site operations.

Pay Rate: $16.85 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including production, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas, noting and reporting security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, following site access procedures and reporting discrepancies, damaged property, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing operations, checking assigned areas, and reporting hazards, spills, and/or policy violations to site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
