Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and/or vehicle logs, and help to control access to authorized areas in accordance with post orders and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, loading areas, and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer, vehicle, and/or pedestrian movement, reporting policy violations, and documenting daily activities, incidents, and access-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
