The Manager, Demand Planning role for North America Wholesale (NAW) serves as the strategic link between merchandising intent and operational execution. This role is responsible for building a seamless bridge of data and product insight between customer buys, assortment strategy, and final product delivery. By leading cross-functional partnership with Sales, Merchandising, Buying, and Operations, you will ensure that our seasonal assortments are backed by data-driven forecasts and grounded in a deep understanding of product, consumer demand, and market trends. Our special programs, such as replenishment, are vital sales drivers; your success in aligning supply with demand is critical to achieving NAW financial plans. You will act as a chief enabler for the sales team by mastering and implementing digital tools like NuOrder, Collection Curator and emerging asset platforms. Buying Strategy & Product Leadership Own and drive the collective buying strategy for the footwear category across all North American wholesale accounts, ensuring buys are rooted in consumer insight, trend awareness, and historical performance Partner closely with Merchandising and Buying teams to influence assortment decisions, advocating for the right product mix by door, channel, and account tier Bring a strong product point of view to seasonal buy reviews, challenging or validating assortments based on sell-through data, margin implications, and brand positioning Lead pre-season and in-season buy meetings with cross-functional stakeholders, synthesizing inputs from Sales, Merchandising, and Finance to guide final buy decisions Forecast Planning & Demand Management Drive seasonal forecasting by aligning demand plans with merchandising strategies, product life cycles, and account-level sell-through trends Execute SKU-level forecasting by delivery period via RPAS to ensure supply chain visibility and on-time delivery performance Conduct proactive analysis to identify inventory needs and execute reorder and chase opportunities in response to in-season demand signals SKU & Inventory Lifecycle Management Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of SKUs from initial buy through final disposition, ensuring product remains productive across its lifespan Monitor and manage unproductive inventory, developing and executing solutions in partnership with Sales and Operations Track markdowns and report findings to protect brand equity and departmental profitability Cross-Functional Partnership & Strategic Influence Serve as the primary strategic liaison across Sales, Merchandising, Buying, Planning, and Warehouse Operations - translating product and market intelligence into decisions that impact the full supply chain Lead cross-functional alignment meetings to ensure seasonal strategies are consistently communicated and operationally executable Partner with Finance and Sales leadership to track performance against NAW financial plans, providing recommendations that balance revenue opportunity with inventory risk Influence go-to-market strategy by contributing a planning and buying perspective to broader seasonal and category planning discussions Replenishment & Core Product Strategy Partner with Planning and Sales to implement and scale core replenishment programs for footwear, maintaining target rates of turn and monitoring ongoing SKU performance Identify opportunities to expand or optimize replenishment assortments based on sales velocity and inventory availability Digital Tools & Merchandising Systems Utilize Collection Curator and related merchandising tools to ensure the right product mix is prioritized and presented for the North American market Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of Wholesale Sales Management Systems (NuOrder/OOSR), ensuring they serve as effective tools for the sales team Oversee alignment between physical product and digital presence, ensuring images and copy reflect merchandising standards for e-commerce accounts Data Integrity & Operational Excellence Own the "Made to Order" master file, synthesizing customer buy data into actionable internal department buys Maintain and socialize historical shipping and selling data to inform future seasonal merchandising and buying decisions Champion data integrity across all planning systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across teams The accomplished individual will have... 6+ years of experience in planning, buying, or merchandising, preferably within the fashion, footwear, or luxury goods industries; sized category experience strongly preferred; ; an equivalent combination of work experience and education will be considered Demonstrated experience in wholesale buying processes, assortment planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising and Sales teams Proven experience managing direct reports and developing talent within a fast-paced, matrixed environment Strong product sensibility with the ability to connect data insights to broader brand and market strategy Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data modeling) with the ability to turn complex data feeds into clear, actionable reports; proficiency in NuOrder a plus Experience managing digital asset platforms and a working understanding of how product data feeds into e-commerce environments Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a track record of driving alignment across cross-functional teams Our Competencies for All Employees Coach. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer and we pride ourselves on hiring and developing the best people.
