Position: OEM Account Manager

Location: Dearborn, MI

Salary: $107,708 (Direct Hire)

We are seeking a results-driven OEM Account Manager to manage and grow key OEM and Specialty Vehicle customer accounts. This role focuses on account management, business development, and customer relationship strategy within the automotive and powertrain space.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular engagement and onsite visits.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by expanding existing accounts and securing new business opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary customer advocate, resolving issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to identify new markets and applications for automotive components.
  • Conduct sales analysis, forecasting, and pipeline management using CRM/ERP systems.
  • Lead internal meetings to align on quotes, backorders, sales strategy, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Credit and Operations to ensure order accuracy, timely delivery, and account compliance.
  • Provide regular updates on account performance, pipeline, and growth initiatives.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required (Engineering preferred).
  • 3-5+ years of experience in account management, OEM sales, or business development.
  • Experience in automotive, powertrain, or related industries preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support customer relationships.
