General Responsibilities: HandsOn Field Work \| Regional Projects \| Team Environment We're seeking an Exploration Team Member (ETM) to join our Des Moines-based drilling team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor, handson work, operating equipment, and being part of a dependable crew supporting regional infrastructure and development projects. Why Join Us Regional project variety without longterm travel Steady work with a strong team culture Skill growth and advancement opportunities Work that makes a visible impact Essential Roles and Responsibilities: What You'll Do Operate geotechnical drill rigs (auger, mud rotary, air rotary, coring) Perform insitu testing (CPT, pressuremeter, rock dilatometer) Install monitoring wells and instrumentation Lead and work alongside a 2person drill crew Collect and classify soil and rock samples Perform routine equipment maintenance Complete field paperwork and DOT logs Follow safety, quality, and project standards Requirements: What We're Looking For Required: High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of relevant field or drilling experience Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card within 30 days Required state drilling/well installation license (where applicable) Preferred: Insitu testing or instrumentation experience Environmental, angle, or barge drilling experience Iowa or regional drilling license Class A or B CDL
