Position summary The Program Coordinator II supports the planning, coordination, and execution of one or more programs to ensure goals and objectives are achieved within established timelines and priorities. Working under general supervision, this role partners with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage day-to-day program operations, support reporting and communications, and contribute to ongoing program development and improvement. Key responsibilities Coordinate daily operations and activities of assigned programs, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines Assist in developing and refining program goals, objectives, and processes Support preparation of funding proposals and continuation requests for external sponsors Provide guidance and support to staff and stakeholders, helping to resolve issues and answer program-related questions Prepare reports on program progress, outcomes, and key metrics for leadership and external partners Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance performance Review program applications or documentation and assist in decision-making processes Support recruitment efforts, including communications and promotional materials Plan and coordinate meetings, workshops, and events, including logistics and stakeholder communication Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, faculty, and community partners May provide oversight or supervision to program staff Minimum qualifications Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in program coordination or administration Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to problem solve, think independently, and navigate complex situations Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and manage conflict effectively Schedule:Full-time position (standard business hours) Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision, and dental insurance, childcare and student loan subsidies, generous paid time off, a 403(b) retirement savings plan, pension, tuition and certification reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts, and discounted MBTA passes. The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
