As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a public healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, waiting areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, documenting incidents and/or notable observations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support a courteous and orderly environment by assisting with directions, managing visitor interactions, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
