Pool Attendant



Pool Guest Services Attendant facilitate fun and enjoyment for our Hotel Guests and Golf and Spa Members. They work primarily outdoors in the sunshine alongside adults, families and children. Attendants are responsible for the safety and cleanliness of pool facilities, stocking needed supplies and fulfilling guest needs through anticipatory service.


Salary for this position is (based on experience): $19.00/hour. Seasonal Associates at Omni Interlocken are entitled to select benefits based on hours worked. Omni Interlocken reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities:



  • Ensure resort guests have an exemplary experience through warm welcomes, anticipatory service and fond farewells
  • Monitor the pool deck for safety, cleanliness and guest needs
  • Empty towel bins, restock towels, ensure pools areas are free of debris and trash
  • Re-stock towels and other supplies related to the operation; ensure appropriate rotation and prevent shortages
  • Communicate and enforce rules with grace and kindness
  • Assist fellow associates as needed
  • Maintaining the complimentary beverage station on the pool deck
  • Ensure umbrellas are clean, polished and presentable condition
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitary and in presentable condition
  • Ensure that all trash receptacles throughout the designated pool areas are promptly emptied and maintained
  • Report facility issues promptly to Director of Rooms, immediate supervisor or manager
  • Follow safety procedures to include reporting of unsafe conditions or work practices to immediate supervisor or manager
  • Adhere to all Standards of Conduct as outlined in the Associate Handbook
  • Be an ambassador for the Hotel. Offer your knowledge and assistance for Resort amenities and services



Qualifications:



  • High energy with a service mindset and a Can-do attitude.
  • Conversational English-speaking abilities required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Available for the entire Season April - August.



This position will be open and posted until filled, with a minimum posting period of three days.
