Laundry Driver

Overview:

Responsible for insuring a timely and consistent distribution of all clean and soiled linens throughout the property.

Responsibilities:

* Pick up soiled linen and deliver clean linen to all food and beverage outlets, Spa, Fitness, Tennis, clubhouse and Lakeside.

* Ensure clean linen is delivered to the proper linen closets by item and record deliveries.

* Assist in loading washers and dryers to help in production levels.

* Work chute area when needed.

* Complete pre-shift and post-shift checklists for vehicle.

* Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.

* Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.

* Attend department meetings and other required company trainings.

* Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

* Previous Laundry experience is preferred.

* Must be 21 years of age or older.

* Must possess a valid driver license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report.

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment specimen test.

* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, performing repetitive work.

* Must be willing to work a variety of shifts.

* PM availibility required.

* Weekends and holidays may be required.

* Extra work hours/shifts may be required to ensure that all customer needs are met daily.

* Physical Requirements:

o Ability to drive, stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate to heavy weight for an entire shift.

* Working Environment:

o Roadway with exposure to a variety of weather conditions.

o Interior and exterior of clubhouse and hotel.

o Interior of laundry room with daily travel around property.

o Exposure to extreme temperatures, especially heat.

o Exposure to hazardous chemicals.

* Tools & Equipment:

o Delivery truck

o Washing and drying machines

o Ironer, towel folder, sheet folder
